Hoppy IPA Day! - Brewery 85 Does Justice to the Day

Just back from the Brewery 85 Greenville IPA release. I liked the beer, dark color and all. Big body, strong malt backbone but the Warrior, Amarillo and Centennial hops are up to the task of making a well-balanced, nicely bittered finish, IPA. 7.9% abv is not outrageously high and certainly not detectable. I think Taylor Lamm, brewer, and Will McCameron have a winner! Other people thought so too, from the looks of the crowd that was developing. Staff very busy serving the new IPA, making coasters and even welcoming an ice cream truck.

Jeremy, left, takes time out to enjoy a tasty ice cream treat.

Great way to celebrate National IPA Day. Cheers!
