Big and I mean big, turnout for Brewery 85's
3rd Birthday bash. The usual good beers and one by Taylor Lamm,
previously a brewer at 85 but who now has his own brewery, Oconee
Brewing, a jalapeƱo pale that was just too drinkable. Probably all gone
by now, but quite the special beer for those, like me, who enjoy the
additional pepper flavor without overpowering heat. Perfect balance
here. More details and photos later, I gotta sit down for awhile.

Oktoberfests Winding Down - Except for Brewery85
As I mentioned earlier, when it comes to Oktoberfest, Brewery 85
has one of the most popular fests around. Good beers, good food and
guaranteed fun for all (ages). Today was no exception. Due to some poor
time management (and some timely beer tasting) I got there a bit late,
but people were still into the spirit of things. Some photos that
capture a bit of the flavor of the day.
Cheers and Prost!!

Canning Time @Brewery85
Beer canning became a spectator sport last night at Brewery 85.
Watched cans being filled, cans being stacked and cans being tossed!
Quittin' Time Helles was the star this time. Cans were also weighed,
imprinted with pithy comments and even handed out to a fortunate few ( I
got one!). Based upon the huge stacks of empties awaiting their turn,
I'd say that chances are good that you could drop in soon for a pint and
get the same floor show. Rack'em!!
